A BRAND NEW INTERPRETATION BY CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON

May 2020 sees Alberta Ballet proudly present the world premiere of Christopher Anderson's new interpretation of Swan Lake. Anderson breathes new life into the world's most famous piece of ballet, one that Alberta Ballet has only presented once before over the past 35 years. This interpretation of Tchaikovsky's classic puts a fresh lens on the story of Prince Siegfried's journey into adulthood and will surely delight audiences new and old.

Anderson's previous additions to Alberta Ballet's repertoire includes interpretations of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, both in 2018. Before joining Alberta as Associate Artistic Director, his career included a 14-season tenure performing with Ballet West as well as a stint with the Boston Ballet.
